The new PLEXTONE X53M appear to sound about the same as PLEXTONE G10, but have a new design and better use of materials. These earphones look quite premium and offer a great value for the little money you have to pay for them.

I actually had to use ROCK Zircon's tips to get a proper seal with these earphones. Your mileage may vary on this. Lows / BassThese earphones were designed with a boomy bass in mind. The bass is so powerful and overwhelming that you barely care about the mids and highs, especially if you're listening to electronic music. These earphones are just plain fun to listen to. About the same bass response as the X41M. Mids / VocalsAlthough the mids and vocals aren't the most detailed I've heard so far, even not as clear as X41M, they are still quite excellent in most cases, especially for pop and dance/electronic music. Obviously not precise, but are very fun to listen to. Highs / TrebleThe highs are not highly detailed, and slightly darkish, but at least they aren't harsh or piercing. They are quite comfortable to listen to, but those who are looking for more impressive detail should look elsewhere. Frequency Response![]() Published on 2017-03-26 21:51:47 (GMT)
