PLEXTONE has upped its game in the design department, but forgot that what's really important is the sound quality. These earphone's bass response is similar to that of PLEXTONE X41M, but the mids and highs were totally destroyed - no clarity and no detail.
PLEXTONE X46M
ø10mm Dynamic Driver
Pros
- Powerful bass with a huge sub-bass response.
- A refreshing design with a detachable cable and a great build quality with proper strain reliefs.
Cons
- The mids and highs were totally destroyed in these earphones.
- You only get M-size translucent tips with orange bores. The S and L-sized tips are just generic black tips.

Comfort & Fit
The included tips are pretty and add a nice touch to the design, but they aren't so grippy and don't seal entirely. Had to use ROCK Zircon's tips for this review.
Lows / Bass
The bass is massive, simply mind-blowing. The sub-bass is so powerful that you can feel tickling inside your ear canals. Very similar bass experience to that of PLEXTONE X41M.
Mids / Vocals
The mids are a huge step backwards from PLEXTONE X41M. It's shallow and muffled. No clarity and no significant detail in the mids and vocals.
Highs / Treble
Just like the mids, the highs are also shallow and muffled, much worse than PLEXTONE X41M's highs.
