Baseus Lark EL-02
ø10mm Dynamic Driver
I was expecting EL-02, being newer than the EL-01, to also be better, but that's not the case here. The EL-02 looks better, are built better, and even come with better ear tips. However, they lose in sound quality in every aspect of it when compared to EL-01.
I highly recommend getting the EL-01 instead.
Pros
- Pretty clear and loud sound, even though slightly less powerful than EL-01's sound.
- Excellent build quality and use of materials.
Cons
- Harshness in the sound, specifically in the mids and highs.
- Uncomfortable channel disbalance for vocals and instruments.
- Having open-back design, there's a noticeable sound leakage.
- The design is still quite generic.

The included tips are definitely better then those you get with EL-01, but still quite generic.
Just like with EL-01, the bass seem to be impressively powerful. It's slightly calmer than on EL-01, but still deserves praises.
The mids are fine, but somewhat pushed back further compared to EL-01. They sound unexciting and sibilant. There is an unpleasantly audible disbalance between left channel and right channel when it comes to vocals and some instruments, and it doesn't seem to have anything to do with being defective (as seen in the frequency response graphs). The channel disbalance is different in every track. Quite confusing and uncomfortable,
The highs sound upfront and in-your-face, and are harsher than EL-01's highs. There is an audible sibilance in the sound, and cymbals sound harsh and uncomfortable as a result.
