The hoco. HF1 are the same exact earphones as the RAXFLY L5 (which are unsuccessful imitations of ROCK Zircon), that costs twice the RAXFLY's price, and you don't even get a carrying case.
As you may have expected, most of the review is the same as RAXFLY L5's review.
Avoid these pieces of garbage at all costs. Just get the RAXFLY L5 for half the price or, if you want the real deal, go for the ROCK Zircon for the same price as these.
NOTE: The pair I received had identical housings, instead of symmetrical ones. Not sure if it's a specific factory defect or an absolute manufacturing failure.
Pros
Excellent housings (obviously).
Great packaging in a hard durable box.
Cons
It's a cheap imitation, yet extremely overpriced. It barely deserves your attention.
The pair I received had identical housings, instead of symmetrical ones. Not sure if it's a specific factory defect or an absolute manufacturing failure.
The pair I received had identical housings, instead of symmetrical ones, which in this case means that the left earphone has the wrong angle, and it doesn't fit well. Not sure if it's a specific factory defect or an absolute manufacturing failure.
Lows / Bass
The bass is powerful, but also sounds brightened-out by the quite harsh and darkish highs. There's something imprecise about these lows. They don't sound as impactful as they should, and aren't so deep.
Mids / Vocals
The mids are mediocre, sound somewhat pushed back and slightly sibilant as a result of upfront highs. They are OK, but nothing too impressive.
Highs / Treble
The highs are loud and slightly harsh. There's a darkish tone to them which makes them somewhat unnatural. It sounds as if the highs are so exaggerated that they sound too close to your ears.
