As always, I like to give new/unknown brands a chance to prove their products' quality. This time I wasn't impressed, rather was entirely disappointed. I received a faulty pair. Not a very good way to make yourself a good reputation. I can tell that these earphones are quite good, most likely above average, but can't be sure as it is now.
KeyYoung ME01
ø7.8mm Dynamic Driver
Pros
- Very capable bass response, from what I can tell from the left channel.
- Excellent mids and highs, especially good for female vocals.
- Beautiful and robust housing.
Cons
- Isn't affected much by amplification or DSP.
- Very generic cable construction.
- Got a defective right channel and both housings are marked with "L".
- Unimpressive presentation - no retail packaging and not enough accessories.

Comfort & Fit
The ear tips you get are pretty standard, and standard isn't always good. I had a hard time getting a good seal, and had to use the ROCK Zircon tips for that. The earphones are kind-of heavy, and I feel as if they don't fit properly.
Lows / Bass
As my pair is defective, I can't say much about the true quality of bass, but I can hear mostly nice mid-bass, and not much sub-bass.
Mids / Vocals
Vocals are clear and precise but not so loud, probably because of the defect. However, I can definitely tell that the vocals are far above average.
Highs / Treble
The highs aren't bad at all. Yet, along with the great mids, it makes a perfect sound for soul and acapella kind of music. I could say more if my pair was working properly.
