Joyroom JR-E103
ø6mm Dynamic Driver
These tiny earphones by Joyroom are unexpectedly good, and even solve some of the issues we had with Joyroom JR-E107: They offer slightly louder audio output, much deeper bass, better durability of the nozzle meshes, and much wider nozzles - which means they support a huge variety of ear tips.
However, when it comes to sound quality - clarity was reduced and some muddiness was introduced. Even the treble got less impressive.
Pros
- Excellent sound quality. Clear mids and crisp highs with no distortions. Deep and powerful bass response, not overbearing.
- Louder than most tiny earphones.
- As always, Joyroom provides a great build quality for these earphones as well.
- Extremely comfortable to wear, thanks to their tiny size and light weight.
Cons
- Slightly recessed mids and highs compared to the lows.
- The maximum loudness is still lower compared to what you would get from earphones with larger drivers.

Used the pre-applied tips and got a perfectly comfortable seal for hours. No issues here. Since the nozzles are very wide, you can even use your favorite ear tips with these earphones.
Fast and quite deep bass. Unlike Joyroom JR-E107, these earphones offer such a bass quality that even bassheads can appreciate. Still, don't expect them to outperform earphones with larger drivers.
Quite decent mids, very warm, detailed enough and surrounding, even though somewhat recessed. Great for vocal-oriented music genres and even metal music, and for prolong listening sessions, but not enough if you're looking for something extra-crisp and truly impressive.
Crisp and precise highs. Gentle and not fatiguing, perfect for prolonged listening sessions. I would say that while they are less prone to sibilance compared to Joyroom JR-E107's highs, they are also less impressive and just a bit on the quiet side.
