I was excited about testing some new AudioSense products. The S125 look very nice, are small and compact and are very well built. Unfortunately, they are some of the worst-sounding earphones out there. They are not capable of bass reproduction, they just rattle instead, like some cheap 1W USB-powered speakers. Skip these earphones at all costs. They do not worth their price.
AudioSense S125
Balanced Armature
$25~$30
1.0/5.0
Pros
- Good sounding high-mids and highs.
- A very impressive build quality.
- Nice extras, like a carrying case and a shirt clip.
Cons
- The balanced armature units in these earphones are incapable of bass reproduction. Even the slightest bass content is constantly distorted.
- Since there is no bass, the mids are lifeless, cold and dry.
- The earphones are advertised with red-bore tips. They don't have any.
- No decent retail packaging.

Comfort & Fit
The are very small and one you pick the right tips for you, they'll stay inside perfectly.
Lows / Bass
The bass doesn't exist, and when it does, it's a distorted noise. It just sounds aweful.
Mids / Vocals
The vocals are pushed back and sound very unnatural, they lack volume and presence.
Highs / Treble
The only thing good about these earphones is the high-mids/highs. They are pretty crisp, but that doesn't make the earphones any better.
