gorsun C7
Ø9mm Dynamic Driver

The first gorsun model I decided to try is their newest one to date - gorsun C7. These beautiful earphones are an excellent choice for the common listener, especially those who enjoy great bass with warm mids, but more sensitive listeners will find these earphones' highs quite off and inaccurate, and the mids quite standard because of it.

Pros
Cons
  • Excellent bass response - deep and punchy, not overwhelming.
  • Very high volume levels without any amplification required.
  • Robust build quality and a very attractive design.
  • The highs are quite darkish and colored, harsh and not so crisp. This has a negative effect on the mids as well, especially vocals.
  • The cable is quite pretty, but it's also quite grippy and stiff, and retains bends easily.
  • The inline remote is a generic and cheap one, which can be found on many cheap earphones. A bad choice by the designers.

Comfort & Fit

The earphones are quite comfortable to wear. The included ear tips aren't the best in keeping a good seal, but they're doing the job quite well.

Lows / Bass

The bass is punchy and deep, yet not overwhelming and it does not leak into higher frequencies. The lows fill the mids with warmth and excitement.

Mids / Vocals

The mids are warm and sound pretty good, yet somewhat darkened and sound slightly off. Still, you will enjoy them nevertheless, especially if you haven't heard any brighter earphones.

Highs / Treble

The highs are loud and vivid, but not very crisp and not very precise. They are overly darkish and off-tone. Not a lot of impressive detail in the highs.
