LKER i8
2 x Ø10mm Dynamic Drivers

The extra beautiful, wildly expensive i8 earphones by LKER are some of the best mids/vocals performers around. They have a professional-level sound quality, even if the bass is quite shallow and audiophile-oriented. Still, I'm not sure if they are worth the ridiculous price they cost.

Pros
Cons
  • Extremely impressive mids and reproduction of vocals, near perfect.
  • Extremely loud with no amplification required.
  • Very high build-quality, with an extra-soft and long cable.
  • An impressive variety of ear tips and accessories, which is expected, considering the price.
  • Some sibilance can be heard in the vocals, cymbals and high-hats.
  • The bass is pretty shallow and there's no sub-bass. It's also brighter than usual.
  • Probably the most expensive earphones on AudioBudget to this day.

Comfort & Fit

Some of the most comfortable earphones I ever had. They press against your ear slightly to keep them inside firmly.

Lows / Bass

The lows are enought to fill the whole sound with warmth and stage, but aren't enought for those who listen to electronic music. It's an audiophile-kind-of bass - shallow, gentle and precise.

Mids / Vocals

Amazing mids and reproduction of vocals. The mids are very dominant, loud, and filled with warmth by the lower frequencies. Those are some of the best mids I've heard to this day. Sometimes, however, the brightness of the highs could result in sibilance in studio-produced vocals.

Highs / Treble

The highs are highly crisp and clear. They are quite bright and filled with detail. On studio-produced songs, it can result in slight sibilance.
