Ivery V3
Ø10mm Dynamic Driver

I'm delighted to introduce you to some of the best budget earphones coming from the Chinese market. After a few of average-quality earphones from Ivery, they finally stepped up their game and unleashed their new models of the V series: V3 and V5.

Let's take a look at the V3. Amazing build quality. You can hardly believe that these earphones cost less than $10. The sound? Powerful and fun. The mids and highs are less emphasized than on the old Ivery IV-7 model, which is saddening, but still, the sound is much more than you can hope for for that cheap price.

The sound somewhat reminds of ROCK Zircon but with more blanketed upper-highs. Those with sensitive hearing might actually appreciate that detail.

Recommended for: Average listeners & bassheads.

Pros
Cons
  • Excellent sound quality for a very budget-friendly price.
  • Top-notch build quality and use of materials. Seriously, these are a pleasure to touch and behold.
  • Sturdy, well-designed packaging, which is a new thing for Ivery.
  • The vocals are laid back and muffled a little bit by the aggressive bass.
  • I'd like these earphones much more if the highs were as bright and energetic as those of Ivery IV-7.
  • The included ear tips aren't very grippy, at least from my experience.

Comfort & Fit

There's nothing ergonomic about these earphones, and the included eartips are quite generic, but are of an excellent quality nonetheless. I'd say that those tips aren't very grippy, so if you fail to achieve those earphones' saucy sub-bass, you should push the earphones further in, or switch to other tips (Zircon's tips are more than recommended!).

Lows / Bass

Powerful lows with wobbly, deep sub-bass. It's for you to decide whether they are any better or any deeper than ROCK Zircon's lows, but I'd say they are pretty much on par. You'll notice how deep these lows go so long as the tips you use stay firmly and offer a perfect seal.

Mids / Vocals

Just like with most bassy earphones, the mids are slightly pushed to the back seat. However, they sound quite natural and very fun. Audiophiles will always complain, but I find these mids quite fitting for contemporary music. These mids are especially good for electronic music styles.

Highs / Treble

The highs are loud and clear, even though smoothened. Not as much detailed and crunchy as ROCK Zircon's highs or even Ivery IV-7's highs. These highs will be more than sufficient for people with a sensitive hearing, as they never hit the sibilance threshold.
