Ø10.2mm Dynamic Driver
BGVP are mainly known for their SIDY earphones. This time I tried something different. The YSP04 have been waiting for a review in my drawer for quite a while, almost forgot about them. I'm impressed mainly with their build-quality and high-grade design. Although I can't say that I was truly impressed by the sound quality.
Honestly, I find the overall tonality of the sound quite unnatural for my ears. It's darkish, noticeable darker than most bright (and even neutral) earphones, and the mids and upper-mids are more emphasized at the same time. It took me hours to get used to the sound, and it still isn't so enjoyable, which is the most important aspect of owning earphones to begin with. You may want to give them a try, but I'm not sure whether they worth their price. I'm convinced that there are better options at a much cheaper price.

Comfort & Fit
I'm not really sure what to think about this design. It's unique on the one hand, but isn't truly practical on the other. Initially, they are quite comfortable, almost genius. But after a while of use, you might feel slight discomfort because of the edged housings pressing against your ear.
Lows / Bass
The bass is more than enough for vocal-oriented music, as it's warm and punchy. However, it lacks depth, thus does nothing impressive when it comes to electronic music. Some upper-bass leakage into the mids causes vocals to sound tubby, overblown with bass.
Mids / Vocals
Quite excellent, slightly overemphasized mids and vocals. Warm but darkish. There's just something dirty about how the mids, along with the highs, sound. It's almost like there's a tubby/radio-like effect on the vocals.
Highs / Treble
The highs are loud but gentle, although have somewhat darker tone than I expected. Compared to brighter earphones, like boarseman CX98 and even neutral earphones like the TIN Audio T515, the YSP04 highs fail to impress when it comes to vividness and clarity.
